Kara Pearson - Denver Wedding photography
Originally hailing from the Chicago area, I began my photography career working for newspapers in Colorado. In more than six years of wedding photography I am convinced that shooting weddings as a photojournalist – shooting events as they unfold, sneaking candids of guests, and capturing the intimate moments between the bride and groom – is the only way to accurately tell the story of your special day. I want my clients to have a full visual story of the day; the moments they missed, the ones they’d rather forget, and the ones that’ll bring tears to their eyes.
I try to stay away from the trends in photography, and instead aim for my work to be truthful, thought-provoking and timeless. I shoot with available light whenever possible and really take a natural approach to all my photography, whether that be child and family portraits, boudoir or weddings.
